Teach the new words .
Step 3 While-task
SB Page65,1a & 1b.Point to the items and ask someone to read the each one to the class . Play the
recording and let Ss fill in the chart .Check the answers .
SB Page 65 , 1c .
Point out the sample conversation in activity 1c .Ask two Ss to read it to the class .Have Ss work in
pairs .
Step 4 Post-task
SB Page 66 , 2a & 2b .First point to the chart in activity 2a and get Ss to know what to do ,then play
the recording and ask Ss to check “yes” or “no” .Correct the answers .
Do with activity 2b in the same way .
Step 5 Pairwork
SB Page 66 , 2c .Ss work in pairs , then ask some pairs to act out their conversations .
Step 6 Homework
In pairs make a conversation using “Could you please …?
Could you … ?”.

blank .Ask Ss to fill in each blank with the work make or do .
Correct the answers .

to do ,you can use the list of chores in 1a .
Ask a student to say the name of a chore .Then ask another student to say I like or I don’t like .Then ask a third student to give a reason .
