4.     Check the homework.
5.     Act the dialogue of Part A.
Step2. Presentation
1.     Show the pupils a toy deer. T: Look. What’s this? Do you know? Ss: It’s a deer. T: Yeah. 

Very good. You’re right/ Well done. Read “deer”. Show a toy giraffe to teach “giraffe”.
2.     Teach tall and short by hands. 

Help the pupils say: The giraffe is tall. The deer is short.
3.     Listen to the tape and read the dialogue.
Step3. Practice
1.     Practice the dialogue in pairs.
2.     Make the dialogue in pairs.
3.     Make sentences like this: Look. I have a giraffe. It’s tall. It has a long neck.
