　　一、复习

　　教师提问问题，与学生进行下列对话。

　　T: Do you like penguins?

　　S: Yes, I do.

　　T: Why?

　　S: Because they're very cute.

　　T: let's see the elephant.

　　S: Why do you want to see the elephant?

　　T: Because it's very smart.

　　说明：复习上节课的目标语言。

　　二、教学SectionB-1

　　1. 教师说：today we are going to have a trip to the zoo. Would you like go with me? 学生回答：Yes.教师接着说： First, we should know some friends in the zoo. 然后教师与学生谈论学过的动物名词。

　　2. 展示一些有趣的动物图片，让学生描述，通过这种方式，引出SectionB-1中更多描述动物的的形容词。

　　3. 让学生看图说出每幅图片中动物的名称，然后让学生注意顶部的形容词，说：Now please match the adjectives at the top with the animals in the picture. Write the letter of the animal on the line after the adjective. 教师针对给出的模式答案解释说明。

　　说明：在学生完成的过程中，教师要在教室内来回走动，给学生提供必要的帮助。

　　4. 教师利用课件核对答案。

　　三、教学SectionB-2a,2b

　　1. 播放录音，将听到的第一部分中的形容词圈出来，教师利用课件展示答案。

　　2. 再次播放录音，

学生完成2b。教师核对答案。

　　四、教学SectionB-3

　　This activity provides guided oral practice using the target language.

　　Say to the students there are so many animals,

　　1. 教师提问一名学生了下列问题，which animal do you like? Then ask he/she why do you like it? What other animal do you like? Why? 学生依次回答，这样就形成了一个对话。其他学生模仿，编类似的对话。

　　2. 教师叫几组学生将本组的对话表演出来。当学生进行表演时，其他的学生认真听，表演结束后，其他学生对表演的学生做出评价，可以从发音，语调，重音，面部表情，眼神交流以及创造性等各个方面进行评价。

　　说明：使用目标语言，练习口语对话。

　　五、SectionB-3a

　　1. 学生认真看图，辨认图中的动物，说出他们的名称。

　　2. 叫三名学生分别朗读对三种动物的描述，提示学生通过国家和动物的习性辨认描述的动物与哪幅图片相匹配。

　　3. 教师核对答案。

　　六、教学拓展

　　Proverbs about animals(英语中有关动物的谚语)

　　教师可以通过让学生猜谚语意思的方式，教学一些英语谚语。
