….得多 (跟在比较级后)=much= a lot

-I have a great deal of work to do.    a great deal of money/ information/ water

a lot of/lots of /plenty of + 可数或不可数名词

注意: scores of 前不能加数词;数词+score, 有时加of, 有时不加 of

2． leaving… people 为现在分词短语作结果状语

3. be (well) worth doing/n./ 价钱
The book is worth reading./ The place is worth a visit(visiting).
The car is worth 200,000 yuan.

4. all the time 一直，始终
 I’ve been living in the old house all the time.
 time短语: ahead of time ; at one time; at a time; from time to time; in no time; kill time
