二、教学目标

2. 能听得懂、会说、会读和会写句型 What shape is the…? It's a \ an … . Show us how to…

3. 正确理解并熟练运用本节课所学的单词及句型。

四、教学准备

有关形状的纸张或物品、歌曲What are you doing?

五、教学过程

Step 1 Free talk

1. Greetings.

2. What day is it today?

3. What's the weather like today?

4. What are you doing?

5. Listen to the song 'What are you doing?'

Step 2 Presentation

1. Game:  Guess 'What’s Mike doing now?'　（事先准备一张Mike在画画的图片）

T: Is the house beautiful?

S: Yes, it is.

T: Look, there are many shapes.

2. Teach: shape

3. 教师指着门把手问：What shape is it? 引导学生说：It's a circle.

4. Teach 'circle'.

5. 教师指着图中的屋顶说：What shape is it? (It's a triangle.)

6. Teach 'triangle'.

7. 教师出示一组一模一样的直角三角形，一组一模一样的等腰直角三角形，一组一模一样的等边三角形，一模一样的顶角为120°的等腰三角形。

8. 引导学生Use the triangles to make a shape.（教师可先示范一组）

9. 学生用两个一模一样的直角三角形拼成一个长方形。

教师问：What shape is this now?

引导学生回答：It's a rectangle.

10. Teach 'rectangle'.

11. 将'triangle'和'rectangle'进行比较，总结构词规律，帮助学生记忆。

12. 再让学生用两个一模一样的等边三角形拼成一个菱形或用两个一模一样的顶角为120°的等腰三角形拼成一个菱形。

教师问：What shape is it?

引导学生回答：It's a diamond.

Teach 'diamond'.

13. 再引导学生用两个一模一样的等腰直角三角形拼成一个正方形。

教师问：What shape is it now?

引导学生回答：It's a square.

14. Teach 'square'.

15. 拿着一张正方形的纸问学生：Can you show us how to make a star?

引导学生说制作星形的方法，见图。

先将正方形纸对折，然后再从它的中点折叠，使折成的一边是留下一边的2倍，再将已折的一边对折，未折的一边反折过去，最后在长边对应的另一边约三分之一处剪一刀，展开后即成五角星。

16. 教师示范做，然后问：What shape is it?

学生回答：It's a star.

17. Teach 'star'.

18. 指名学生做。Show us how to make a star.

19. Teach 'Show us how to make a star.'

20. Listen to the tape.

21. Read the six words after the tape.

22. 教师拿着一张长方形的图片问：What shape is the picture? 学生回答：It's a rectangle.

23. 学生拿着自己的实物ask each other and act.
