(1) Warming up and review
1. Teacher and students sing the song together “My Days of the week”,review the words we learned last time.
2. Daily English practices “What day is it today?\ It’s Thursday. I like music. \Do we have music today?\ Yes.”
3. Have a word-spelling conpitition.
(2) Presentation
1. T shows the hanging picture, and ask the S, “It’s time to go to ded. Mike puts away his textbooks. But he puts wrong books in his schoolbag. Why?”
2. Let the students read the dialogue, and try to answer the questions.
3. Watch the VCD, listen and follow the dialogue, finish the exercises of filling the blank.
4. The teacher shows how to write the sentences .The students write the sentences .
5. Pair work. Do the exercise in it. Make a class table. Then have a talk in pairs.

6.Pronunciation ow,ou, the whole class read the words together.
(3) Homework
1. Do the exercises of Part A Read and write in the activity book .

(2) Presentation
1. T asks the students “What do you have on Sturdays? ”The student answers“No.T:Then , what do you do on Saturdays? Show me! The students do the actions.T show word cards:Look at the boy! What does he do on Saturdays?
2. Introduce the phrases “ watch TV, do homework, read books”. Let the students try to say something about the activity on Saturdays.
3. listen to the tape and read after the tape of the words and phrases, use them in sentences.
4. The students write the words in the class book. Give some time to memorize the words.
5. Play the tape of Let’s chant, the students follow the tape for several times.
6. To tell the story in story time.
(3) Homework
1. Do the exercises of Part B Let’s learn in the activity book.
2. Listen to the tape and read it in front of the families.
3. Tell the story to your friends.
