教学目标

　　1. 掌握单词，熟读并牢固记忆： <?XML:NAMESPACE PREFIX = ST1 />Canada , France , Japan , the United States , Australia , Singapore , the United Kingdom , China .

　　2. 运用be from 谈论人们的国籍.

　　3. 检查考完试后所学的单词，巩固学习新单词。

　　4. 学习几个日常交际用语，where, what引导的特殊疑问句。

　　教学重点

　　1. 词汇: pen pal, Australia , Japan , Canada , France, the United states , Singapore , the United Kingdom , country, Sydney, New York, Paris, Toronto, Tokyo

　　2. 目标语言：Where is your pen pal from? He’s from Australia .

　　Where does he live? He lives in. Paris

　　Where is John’s pen pal from?

　　一、导入（Lead-in）

　　1. 教师可以先介绍自己的笔友： “I have a pen pal. His name is Curry Smith. He is from the United States . Do you have a pen pal? Where is your pen pal from? What's your pen pal's name?”

　　2. 教师继续说：Your pen friends may come from different countries. Let look at a map of the world.(教师展示媒体资源课件中的图片)

　　3．教师播放媒体资源中动画情景讲授，让学生熟悉各个国家的 位置以及具有代表性的动物。

　　4.教师找一名学生与自己对话，让学生认真听老师与学生的对话。

　　T: Good morning! What countries and cities do you know?  ( Ss can speak in Chinese.)

　　S: ………

　　教师利用课件，教学一些单词。

　　Countries: China , Australia , Japan , Canada , France , the United States , the United Kingdom , Singapore

　　Cities: Shanghai, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, Paris, New York, London, Singapore

　　二、教学SectionA-1a,1b，1c

　　1. 通过师生对话的方式, 教师引导出新句型，Where are you from ?   I am from China .  Where ‘s your pen pal from? He is from ……

　　2. 教师播放 1a的录音，学生重复听

到的国家单词，教师注意学生的发音，不正确的要予以纠正。

　　3. 再次播放录音，学生完成1b, 教师订正答案。

　　4．让学生自己找搭档，两人一组编对话，并交换角色操练，完成1c，然后表演。

　　例：A：Do you have a pen pal?

　　A：Where’s your pen pal from?  

　　B：He/She is from .... (Write it down on the Bb)

　　5. 教师展示媒体课件，进行进一步的口语练习。

　　三、教学SectionA-2a

　　1. 教师叫一名学生读出2a部分的单词，说出对应的汉语意思。

　　2. 叫学生试着将对应的国家和城市匹配，有些学生可能不太熟悉，教师给予帮助。

　　3．教师展示一些具有城市代表性的图片，加深学生的印象。
