三、课前准备 
1．教师准备录音机及录音带。 
2．教师准备Let’s learn的动作词卡和A部分Read and write 的挂图。 
3．教师准备Pronunciation部分的挂图和单词卡片。 
4．学生准备Let’s learn部分的动作词卡。 
5．学生准备相关的头饰。 
四、教学步骤和建议 
1．热身（Warm-up） 
（1）教师放歌曲“I Can Help”，学生听录音进行表演唱、男女生对唱。 
（2）教师放歌谣“Dog, dog, what can you do?”, 学生跟录音有节奏地说唱。 
2．预习（Preview） 
（1）教师依次出示Let’s learn 部分的动词词卡，学生认读并拼写。 
（2）做“少了什么？”游戏：教师从五张词卡中抽掉一张，问学生：What’s missing?请学生拿掉的那张卡片上的动词词组。 
（3）教师放A Let’s talk部分的录音，学生跟读，然后同桌之间进行问答操练。 
3．新课呈现（Presentation） 
Read and write 
（1）教师出示A部分 Read and write 的挂图，手指图中的羊妈妈说：Look! This is Mother Goat. She is ill．Let’s help her. What can you do? 引导学生进行回答。 
（2）教师板书本课四会句型：What can you do? I can .... 学生拼读、仿写。 
（3）教师说：Mother Goat is ill．Zoom, Zip, Monkey, Rabbit are helping her．They’re helpful．What can the monkey do? What can the rabbit so? What can Zip do? What can Zoom do?学生看课本听Read and write 部分的录音。 
（4）学生就不懂的地方提问，教师做必要的解释。 
（5）教师再放一遍录音，然后指导学生完成“Finish the sentences”的练习。 
（6）教师指导学生进行四会句子的书写。 
Let’s play 
（1）学生三人一组，将动作词卡面朝下放在桌上，两名学生问第三名学生：..., ..., what can you do? 该学生翻开一张词卡，根据词卡上的短语作出回答：I can .... 问问题的两名学生根据实际情况：Yes, you can．/No, you can’t． 
（2）将全班分成两组，根据游戏的内容进行问答练习，下面的内容供参考： 
Amy, Amy, what can you do? Amy, Amy, what can you do? 
I can sweep the floor．I can sweep the floor． 
Yes, yes, yes, you can．Yes, yes, you’re helpful!  
John, John, what can you do? John, John, what can you do? 
I can cook the meals．I can cook the meals． 
No, no, no, you can’t．No, no, no, you can’t． 
Pronnunciation 
教师出示 Pronunciation部分的挂图，带领学生认读or的例词：short, fork, horse, sport,指导学生归纳or的发音规律。教师示范朗读句子：A short horse wore orange shorts．学生试着跟录音朗读。用类似方法教学all, pl, pr的发音规律。 
附含有本课字母组合的常见单词：

教师向学生展示Story time 部分的挂图，分别指着图中的蛇和青蛙问：What’s this? 引导学生作出回答：Yes, it’s a snake / frog do? Now let’s see. 教师放该部分的录音，学生翻开学生用书边听录音边读故事。教师问学生：What can the frog do? 教师再放一遍录音，让学生带着问题再看一遍故事。教师检查学生的理解情况，问：Can the frog sing? Can he dance? Can he swim? 引导学生作出回答。然后，学生分小组表演故事。 
4．巩固和延伸（Consolidation and extension） 
（1）让学生做本单元A Read and write 部分的活动手册配套练习。 
（2）让学生听A部分的录音，读给家长或同伴听。 
（3）让学生听Let’s sing 部分的歌曲，唱给家长或同伴听。

第四课时：
一、教学目标与要求
1．能够听、说、读、写动词词组：wash the clothes, set the table, make the bed和do the dishes．
2．能够听说、认读词组“put away the clothes”和句子“Can you do housework? Yes, I can．”
3．能够说唱B Let’s chant部分的歌谣。
4．了解一些有关安全、环保与洗涤等生活常识。
